Creating A Facebook Channel
According to the latest Facebook changes for Facebook Login Version v2.3, all KudaniCloud users will need to re-install their Facebook channels in their accounts in order to connect to Facebook.
The following outlines the steps needed to create a new Facebook channel:
Step 1: Deleting Existing Accounts
In KudaniCloud go to the 'Settings' section and delete your current Facebook channels
Step 2: Adding a Facebook Channel
In the 'Channel Manager' tab click on the 'Add New Channel' button. Select Facebook from the list. Name your channel and click on the 'Connect with Facebook button.
Step 3: Connecting With Facebook
The Facebook login window should appear. Enter your log in information.
Step 4: Facebook Permissions
Once you have successfully logged in you will be shown this permissions window. In order to connect with KudaniCloud the application will need to receive the information presented. If you would like to continue click 'Okay'.
Step 5: Post Sharing
The next screen allows you to decide who will see the posts that you publish. Select from the drop down list and click 'Okay'.
Step 6: Managing Pages
The next screen indicates that KudaniCloud will have direct access to your pages so that you are able to publish. Click 'Okay' if you would like to continue.
Step 7: Selecting the Facebook Page
Here you will see all of the Facebook pages that you have access to. From the list select the one that you are currently adding to KudaniCloud by clicking on the plus sign. Then click 'Finish'.
Step 8: Channel Creation Complete
The window will close and beside your Facebook channel name you should see a green box with the words 'Connected'. This indicates that the channel has been successfully connected with Facebook. You are now ready to start publishing to this channel.
