Differentiating Between Templates

There are two different types of templates available. Each are unique and different and are not related in any way. Below you will see a description of each.

1. Templates for Blog Posts & Newsletters

The blog post and newsletter templates allow you to create customized layouts for your content. You can create a different layout for each blog post or recall a saved template for higher brand recognition. This feature can be found in the editor section at the top. Here you can either select a template you have already created to load in the editor or create a new one. To create a new template click on the 'Edit' button and then 'Create New' at the bottom of the popup. You will then be asked to select a style theme for your template. Once selected the 'Template Editor' opens where you can now begin selecting blocks by dragging and dropping to create your layout.

Once you are happy with the layout give it a name. This name will automatically load in the templates drop down menu. When you want to edit just select it and click on the edit icon. This will load the template in the editor where you can begin to customize the content.

2.Templates for Amplifying Content

In the amplify area you are able to create templates to promote blog posts to your social media channels. A template is a series of events that will occur once your blog post is published. For example, the first entry or snippet may go out on the same day as the article is published to your Facebook channel. The second snippet may go out one day later to LinkedIn, and so on. Once you create a template you can recall that template each time your write a blog post. This will allow you to syndicate your content to those same channels each time.
