The New Promotion Engine and Amplify Method

The new promotion engine and amplify method allows you to quickly create your post snippets after writing your article. The feature becomes available only when you need it and otherwise remains out of the way for a more distraction free work area.

1. Amplify / Promote Your Content

After you have finished writing your article and click on any of the buttons below the editor (Save Draft, Save & Close, Publish) you will be prompted to promote your content. If you are ready to do so then click 'Yes' to promote the article you have just written.

2. Creating a Sequence Template

The Amplify section has now opened below the editor. Here you are able to create a new sequence or select one of the templates that already exists. If you have never created an 'Amplify' sequence you will be prompted to create one. Add as many snippets as you like. For each snippet you can have one or multiple social media channels. Plus, make sure to change the time of posting for each snippet and then save it.

Once your first sequence is created this will become your 'Default Sequence' and will be automatically loaded whenever you promote a blog post. As well, the title of the blog post will auto-populate in the first snippet field of the sequence.

3. Sequence Date and Time

When selecting the date and time of posting you have two options: 1. select the number of days after posting your article (for example - if you select 2 this means that the snippet will be posted 2 days after publishing your article, or 2. selecting an exact date and time for the snippet to be published.

4. Modifying on the Go

You may want to begin by creating a sequence template by using the number of days after posting, however, then when you open that template for publishing purposes you may want to update those times with specific dates using the calendar option.

Note: This is optional as you can still continue to publish your sequence using the 'Date of Posting' method.

5. OPTIONAL: Creating a Sequence Without Written Content

If you would like to create your sequence beforehand you can do that by opening the channel drop list. Under the heading 'Sequence' the first option available is 'Create Sequence'. Click on that text. You will be promoted to give a name to your sequence template and to select the first channel. Once you have done that the popup will close. You can then re-open the drop list and the new sequence will be listed at the bottom of the 'Sequence' section. Open it from there and begin adding additional snippets to the template.
